Accumulate a sufficient amount of flight time and experience in tailwheel aircraft to meet the training requirements set by your instructor and any applicable regulations or guidelines.

Endorsement Evaluation
Study for and pass the FAA Instrument Rating Knowledge Test, which covers topics related to instrument flight procedures, navigation aids, regulations, weather, and more.

Practical Test (Optional)
While not always required, some instructors may choose to conduct a practical evaluation or checkride to assess your proficiency and readiness for the tailwheel endorsement.

Endorsement

Once you've completed the required training, solo flights, and any evaluations, your CFI will provide you with a tailwheel endorsement in your logbook.

The endorsement will authorize you to operate tailwheel aircraft solo or with passengers, depending on the specific terms of the endorsement.

It's important to note that the exact requirements for a tailwheel endorsement may vary slightly between flight schools or instructors. Always consult with your CFI and follow their guidance regarding tailwheel training and endorsement requirements.
